Our T6 Van Conversion Begins!
It’s finally happening: this week marks the official start of our T6 van conversion, and we couldn’t be more excited to share the journey with you.
The first few days have been all about stripping things back and getting the van ready for its transformation. The old floor has been pulled out, giving us a clean base to build on, and the front seats have been removed too.
The biggest milestone so far was taking out the bulkhead. It put up a bit of a fight, but it’s finally gone, and the space already feels so much bigger and more open.
We’ve also fitted the electric hookup connector on the side of the van, which means that when the build is finished we’ll be able to plug into mains power at campsites.
Next up, we’ll be installing two new windows to bring plenty of natural light into the living space. Once those are in, the real fun begins and we can start on the installation process proper.
